CONNECTING WOMEN FOR GOD'S GLORY

Do you have Christian sisters that you spend quality time with? Sisterhood is about the celebration of the different ages, sizes, shapes, and personalities God has created in his beautiful garden, his family. 

True sisters share their secrets, their hurts, what is really going on inside.  They support one another and protect one another from gossip and outside negative influences. They mentor one another and keep each other accountable.
 
True sisters share in their joys, their successes, and milestones reached. They encourage each other to make the most of what God has given them.  They help each other keep an eternal perspective which can so easily be lost.

True sisters pray for one another, mentor one another, and serve the family together.  They strengthen one another to reach out beyond the gates of the building to their communities, regions, and the world. True sisters have a bond that cannot be broken.  They are family!

What do Sisterhood Groups do?
Each Sisterhood group (garden) is made up of a dozen women (flowers).   Each flower has a nickname that represents something in a garden.  Each flower should give off a scent that is pleasing and compliment the rest of the garden they share.  They spend time together, stretch and grow together, and really get to know one another. 

Annual Event:  Sisterhood Banquet Conference
Sisterhood Conferences are about harvesting the flower crops, and then cultivating and preparing the soil (soul) for a new season.  A special speaker will come to help kick off the new year. 

Quarterly Event:  Sisterhood Gardener Gatherings
Sisterhood gatherings are when all the flowers come together to the Master Gardener's house to be fertilized and learn how to take care of the flowers in their individual gardens.  They will learn how to recognize weeds and pull them out.  They will learn to water, and make themself useful to the Gardener. Speakers will come and present different topics to encourage and lift each flower up. 

Monthly:  Sisterhood Garden Gatherings
Each month the different gardens will each get together and work toward enhancing the beauty of their own gardens, and meeting the needs of the Gardener.  From each garden there will be a butterfly who is designated as a leader of their garden.  Each garden will fulfill the overall missions of the Sisterhood and have their own goals depending on the needs and desires of their individual flowers.

Weekly: Sisterhood Flower Chats
Each week each flower will be encouraged to spend a minumum of 10 minutes talking to a flower in their garden to really get to know them.  Take 5 minutes on each flower, asking questions, and finding out their history, their backgrounds, how they came to Christ, their likes and dislikes, their hurts, their prayer needs, what they want to do for the kingdom while they are still on earth.  They are to discover the treasures hidden within each flower and help to bring it out.
